About TaskSlate — Our Mission & Team

TaskSlate is built by a team of developers passionate about privacy-first productivity tools. We believe your data should stay on your device, and that powerful software doesn't need to require accounts, subscriptions, or cloud dependencies.

Our Mission

To create the most comprehensive, privacy-respecting productivity workspace available — free for everyone. TaskSlate combines task management, note-taking, calendar planning, analytics, and code editing into a single offline-capable application.

Engineering Philosophy

Privacy First — Zero telemetry, zero cloud sync. All data stored locally via IndexedDB.
Offline Capable — Full functionality without internet using Service Workers and Web Workers.
Open Standards — Built on web standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with no proprietary lock-in.
Performance — Instant load times and smooth interactions with optimized React rendering.
